BMW Motorrad UK launches new F 900 R Cup racing series
BMW Motorrad has confirmed that its new F 900 R Cup will accompany the British Superbike Championship from 2023, bringing a high level of competition and cost-effectiveness to racers at the National level. family.
Designed to be accessible to aspiring as well as experienced riders, the BMW F 900 R Cup will feature up to 40 identical machines driven for eight laps on the British Superbike calendar. Taking place at iconic UK tracks, the class will include plenty of practice and qualifying sessions, with points accumulated over two races in each round.
Producing 105 hp as standard, the dynamic BMW F 900 R roadster is available for purchase from any BMW Motorrad UK retailer and each will be offered with a standard road-focused enhancement package. racing, including K-Tech fork inside, K-Tech rear shock absorber, Arrow exhaust, rear rack, shock absorber and racing body.
Pirelli has been the sole tire supplier for the UK Superbike line since 2008 and will support the BMW F 900 R Cup. Riders will be limited to two sets of tires in one race over the weekend, using the latest generation Diablo Supercorsa SC and Diablo Rain tires, subject to conditions.
Teams will have the option to purchase a bike and have a racing kit fitted by their favorite BMW Motorrad retailer, by an approved Fortis Racing partner or by their own support team. Fortis Racing will continue to be present at each lap, providing on-site race spares and support for all riders.

Open to riders with a Clubman ACU license or higher, the F 900 R Cup bike will be available to purchase from £11,000 ($19,000) including racing kit.
