Nets trade Kyrie Irving for Mavericks for Spencer Dinwiddie, choose

The brooklyn network is trading eight times All-Star Kyrie Irving arrive Dallas Mavericks because Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smithone pick in the first round in 2029 and multiple picks in the second round, according to multiple reports.

The Mavericks were one of the original teams affiliated with Irving, along with Los Angeles Lakersthe Laser cutting and phoenix sun.

Irving requested the transaction from the Nets on Friday after both parties failed to reach an agreement on a contract extension. Irving will be a free agent in the summer if he does not sign a contract extension with the Mavericks.

Irving averaged 27.1 points, 5.3 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1 steal per game in 40 appearances for the Nets this season.
