Nauticam Launches “Pro Package” Case for Canon EOS R50

When Nauticam publicize your housing give Canon EOS R50 in March, it looks like any other Hong Kong corporate home. But Nauticam has actually made a rather unusual design decision: The new case houses the camera with Canon RF-S 18–45mm f/4.5–6.3 IS STM kit lens is included, meaning the port is fixed. Instead of replacing a “dry” lens, users attach a wide-angle or macro wet lens to capture different subjects.

Now, Nauticam has gone one step further and created Pro Pack for Canon EOS R50 to make it easier for the serious beginner. This package includes the NA-R50 case, trays with left and right handles, two 1-inch ball mounts, a shutter extension, and a vacuum system.

The Pro bundle for the Canon EOS R50 has an MSRP of $2,030, while the case’s own price is $1,494, so the difference—just over $500—is what you pay for the extras. there. (And Nauticam hopes you still have money left over to buy some of their wet lenses…)
