Mustang driver knocks out four vehicles in road rage incident

A 22-year-old driver has caused thousands of dollars in damage after he hit four vehicles trying to escape a minor rear-end collision in Los Angeles.

The Ford Mustang, believed to be driven by Seth Pointe, can be seen backing up to make way for him to escape but was hit by witness Paul Sampietro.

“I noticed he was driving recklessly and almost crashing into people until he finally hit someone. So then I stopped and locked him in a box so he couldn’t escape,” Sampietro said. ABC7.

Mr Sampietro then began recording the incident, which apparently only angered the “stressed” driver.

Looking for a plan B, Mr. Pointe rammed into the truck at an angle that left just enough space to reverse to the other side of the street.

The Ford Mustang then crashed into an oncoming Porsche Boxster before taking off again.

While he seemed to have all the space he needed to get out comfortably, the driver was back in seconds in the Infiniti.

While trying to continue to flee, the video shows the Mustang disabled in the back of the SUV after several flat tires.

ABC7 reported The Los Angeles Police Department charged Mr. Pointe with four counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

Based on KTLA5The LAPD also reported “several people” with minor injuries in the four-car crash.

Mr Pointe was released after posting a $30,000 bond (AU$44,829). He will appear in court over the case later this month.
