I really look forward to returning to the Island. What started with the idea of being a journalist turned racer at Pikes Peak and TT certainly escalated, and it’s fair to say I made a TT mistake! Last year was good for me and I’m satisfied with the way I ride and how I prepare myself, but there were some issues with the bike during the two weeks so I feel like I have some work left to do. unfinished.

“That means, switching from Supersport to Superbike means I’m going to learn the Course again – new brake markers, new riding styles, jumping in positions that don’t jump above 600, all that stuff. . But it’s been fun and amazing to ride with a team with such a good history, and I have to say a big thank you to Davo [Johnson] for giving me good words to the team!”

Rennie’s story is very good. He’s clearly a really talented racer thanks to his success at Pikes Peak and how well he performed in his first year despite the problems he had, so I’m excited to see how we can help him improve this year.

“In Matthew we have a young but experienced guy who I think we haven’t seen the best yet. I know he’s had quite a few bike problems, especially on 1000cc bikes, over the years which means we haven’t seen his true potential yet. We’re going to prepare a great set of bikes for him, pre-season testing has been so good so far, so we’re excited to get started..”
