La La Landcritically acclaimed musical stone Emma And Ryan Goslingofficially treated on Broadway.
“I’m so excited to be reunited with Lionsgate and the incredible team behind La La Land to adapt the film for Broadway, the next exciting chapter in its development,” the film’s producer Marc Platt said in a statement. “We’ve assembled a world-class team to create a musical that will delight La La Landof millions of existing fans and introduce the property to a whole new audience.”
Although the theatrical show’s official opening date has yet to be announced, it will be directed by the Tony Award-winning director. Bartlett Sher with the book written by the playwright Ayad Akhtar And Matthew Decker. The stage adaptation will feature the film’s composer’s music Justin Hurwitzwith lyrics by the Oscar and Tony winning songwriting team Benj Passek And Justin Paul.”
