A quick movea new motorcycle racing movie, now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video and featuring a race-spec Triumph Daytona 765. The film tells the story of protagonist Wes Neal (KJ Apa), who wants to become a professional motorcycle racer and trains with Dean Miller (Eric Dane) to make that dream come true.

Writer and director Kelly Blatz took great care to capture not only the atmosphere of motorcycle racing, but also the details. Blatz is a racing enthusiast and a motorcycle rider and wanted to create an authentic image of the racing community. For the racing scenes, the riders were all real racers, bringing trucks and trailers along with their race cars to create an authentic pit setup.

During the racing scenes, cameras were attached to the bikes and microphones were also attached to each motorcycle to capture the actual sounds of each bike. For the film’s fastest scenes, championship racers such as Daytona 200 champion Brandon Paasch and Horizon Award winner Brian Stokes were cast as riders. Blatz also attended the press preview of Triumph Street Triple 765 RS at the Circuito de Jerez to ride the new bike and get more inspiration for the film.

“Create A quick move “This has been an incredible journey,” said Kelly Blatz. “The film not only showcases the exciting world of motorcycle racing, but also delves into human endurance and determination. I am grateful to Triumph Motorcycles for their support and partnership in bringing this vision to life.”

The bike the film’s protagonist rides is a Triumph Daytona 765 Moto2 Limited Edition with Moto2Style racing styling. That bike’s engine, the 765cc Moto2 Triple, went on to win podium finishes in the Street Triple 765 RS at the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and the 2024 World Superbike Championship.

“We are proud to be involved. A quick move”, said Adam VanderVeen, marketing director of Triumph Motorcycles America. “By capturing the essence of racing, the film captures much of what Triumph is – the spirit of adventure, the pursuit of excellence and the thrill of riding. It’s great to see Daytona’s track performance always remembered in film, but my real hope for this film is that it inspires many non-first-time riders and current riders to try their first race day, to experience the thrills that are captured on screen for themselves.”

To celebrate the film, Triumph is sending fifty 11×17-inch posters to every Triumph dealer in the United States and Canada, and fans can stop by their local dealer to pick up a free poster while supplies last.
