As the time of year passes that our furry family members are born or rescued from shelters, some pet parents really want to go out to celebrate.
After all, what would life be like without the fluffy love of our lives? Recently, a doggie mom threw a Minion-themed happy birthday kiss to her baby boy, and the video she posted is going viral.
It’s clear from the recent video clip posted by Tik Tok user @Hannahwantsdj that she absolutely loves her hairy “son” Ivor. (In fact, that’s exactly what she calls him in the video’s caption.)
I mean, only the dorkiest doggie mom would go through so much trouble to spoil her sweet sidekick like this. When the viral video begins, the theme song “Despicable Me” is playing in the background. Viewers are then given a tour of intricate Minion-themed decorations.
There are matching balloons, banners, napkins, tablecloths and party hats that decorate every square inch of space. And even the doggie dessert is made to fit the “Minion” theme.
After we’ve toured all the ornate decorations, the video shows Ivor’s mother holding his beautifully decorated cake as partygoers sing him the classic song “Congratulations.” birthday” from the screen. She also matches the Minion theme and wears a lovely outfit that goes with Ivor’s blue birthday scarf.
It’s clear from his behavior that sweet Ivor can barely contain his excitement, as his mother has to constantly remind him to “stay” as they sing. He can’t take his eyes off his cake, and who can blame him? His cake looks absolutely amazing!
The video ends as Ivor’s mother removes the decorations stuck in his cake and then sets it down for the birthday boy. Confetti pops up on screen as we’re left wondering if he devoured it all in just a few bites or his mother chopped it up and served it up.
Between all the elaborately coordinated decorations and an extremely excited birthday boy, it’s no wonder this video went viral. With all the doom and gloom in our social media reels, this video is exactly the kind of amusing content so many of us need to see.
