Montplaisir Appointed CEO of Amplify


Amplify Horse Racing, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to education, mentoring and career opportunities in the Thoroughbred industry for youth and young adults, has announced the appointment of Annise Montplaisir as Annise Montplaisir. managing director.

Guided by the goal of developing a platform for youth in horse racing, Montplaisir co-founded Amplify with Madison Scott in 2019 and has served as the organization’s president since its founding in 2020. Scott remains on the board of directors along with Price Bell, Jordyn Egan, Hallie Hardy, Laurel Humbert-Stock, Katie LaMonica and Cate Masterson.

Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, and an alumnus of North Dakota State University, Montplaisir completed internships with Fasig-Tipton, Keeneland, and Mill Ridge Farm before being accepted into the Godolphin Flying Start Program. Her background includes project management for the global network organization Together for Racing International (TfRI), co-host of the Spanish-language Hipica TV show Breeders’ Cup in 2021 and 2022, also produces and co-hosts the Spanish-language online equestrian show, La Trifecta, with America’s Grand Prix. Montplaisir recently ended a two-year term as the Kentucky Equine Education Project (KEEP) equine education coordinator – a role that works closely with Amplify to launch numerous initiatives. youth-to-horse connections, including the Horse Career Tour Series, kids and family events, a mentoring program and representation at various equine events.
