Capcom will add new Silkbind . attacks with the upcoming release of Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion. While details are scarce, it’s likely we’ll learn more about the new actions and how to unlock them in the coming months.
Wirebug mechanism and Silkbind attacks were introduced in Monster Hunter Rise. Using genuine Wirebug, hunters can jump across the map, climb walls and fight monsters with better mobility.
Silkbind attacks, on the other hand, are weapon-specific attacks that can do anything from nullifying damage to throw the hunter into the air. Silkbind attacks also have the added benefit of bringing monsters closer to a rideable state. There are three Silkbind attacks for all 14 weapons, totaling 42 unique moves. Some moves are only available after the player has unlocked them through the quest.
It’s also not the first time Capcom has added brand new mechanics with an expansion. inside Monster Hunter World Iceborne expanded, the company also introduced Clutch Claw. Similar to Wirebug, Clutch Claw allows hunters to target monsters and deal damage while riding them.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak and new Silkbind attacks will arrive in the summer of 2022. Monster Hunter Rise immediately available to play on Nintendo Switch and PC.
