Miracle dog was saved almost a week after people thought it died in a landslide
Cats always land on their paws, but a Seattle dog named Sammy clearly has a few special tricks of his own.
Based on NBC News, the Seattle dog is presumed dead after her house collapsed in a landslide. “It was a huge roar and the whole thing fell on us,” speak Homeowner Didi Fritts, recalls the terrifying moment her two-story home began to slide down a hill during heavy rain.
But although Didi and James Fritts narrowly escaped death, their two dogs were not so lucky. A dog died when the house fell on them. Everyone assumed that Sammy, a black man in the lab, met a similar fate.
But nearly a week after the landslide, someone heard noises from the dilapidated house. Can Sammy survive this terrible disaster? Firefighters rushed to investigate.
Sure enough, the firefighters found the frightened dog cowering in her abandoned house. No one knows how Sammy survived this terrifying ordeal, but this lucky lab seems to have a guardian angel at her side.
“My child! Oh, my child! “Didi shout when she heard that Sammy had been found.
Firefighters tiptoed the frightened dog down the hill to its grateful owner, who cried and put his arms around the dog that everyone had killed. While it’s understandable to be shaken by this terrifying ordeal, the lucky puppy does not appear to be injured.

Sammy was put on a stretcher, where she would presumably be taken to the vet for emergency treatment.
But before he left, Sammy took a moment to calm his distraught self. Our favorite part of the video is when Sammy gives Didi a quick kiss as if to tell him she’s happy to see her again and everything will be fine.
