The Barrett-Jackson The auto auction is an annual lavish auction with a main stop being held at Westworld in Scottsdale, Arizona, from January 22 to 30, 2022. This year’s 50th anniversary iteration is an overload. about the feel of rare, antique, classic and exotic cars and trucks. However, there was also a neat, shiny motorcycle collection at the event.
Rare vintage motorcycles, vintage dirt bikes, motorcycle-themed artwork and memorabilia are all featured. However, by far the largest representative in the history of motorcycles is the minibike type. Based on the attention from fans and bidders garnered by the large lineup of minis, car enthusiasts have a serious foothold (and deep pockets) for the little rides of their youth.
The Hondas of the 1960s, 70s and 80s accounted for the lion’s share of the motorcycle fleet at the auction. Dozens of tiny, step-by-step Trail 90s and CT70s were offered in both their original form and precisely restored examples. The advertising slogan “you meet the nicest people on a Honda” from the bellbottom era has clearly transcended a modern movement of sentiments and financial means.
