Francesco Bagnaia – Winner V4
“I really had a lot of fun this afternoon. Playing in front of the Ducatisti crowd is very exciting and motivates me to do my best to be able to give them a unique performance. Of course, winning always brings you a lot of fun! It was amazing and I thank all the fans for the warmth and passion they instilled in us! “
Australia’s Jack Miller missed out on a spot on the podium in his Ducati Lenovo Team V4 live competition, finishing ahead of Enea Bastianini, Jorge Martin, Axel Bassani, Johann Zarco and Fabio Di Giannantonio while Luca Bernardi made it. into the top 10.

Federico Caricasulo – Winner V2
“It was a really nice and fun race. Spinelli and I passed each other many times, but in the end I still overcame him in the sprint to the finish line. We passed very quickly, just over a second above the pace of a world championship race. These are really great times when we think we’ve competed with a production bike! Thank you to all the Ducatisti who came to cheer us on today! “
Aussie Oli Bayliss was also on the track, racing the Barni Spark Racing Team V2, but wasn’t fast enough to claim a spot on the V2 podium.
Claudio Domenicali – CEO of Ducati Motor Holding
“It’s really exciting to see all the Ducati riders compete against each other in the Lenovo Race of Champions. It was a unique race of its kind, a dream come true for me, as I believe for all the Ducatisti present today in Misano or those who have watched us live there. home. Nowadays almost all riders use the Panigale V4 as a training bike and so they have a good feel for it and they help us with their instructions to always improve it. Seeing Pecco Bagnaia race Misano on a Panigale V4 S in 1:35.8 seconds, just over two and a half seconds from the time from this year’s Superbike spot at Misano, with the bikes all standard apart from plain tires and racing exhaust, is the ultimate testament to the continuous evolution being done on this bike, and an even more exceptional result considering the extreme temperatures where the race takes place. . Congratulations to Pecco, as well as Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi, who finished the race on the podium, and then all the others who gave their best effort, made a great race and delivered give us a lot of fun. Also congratulations to Federico Caricasulo, winner of the Panigale V2 category. “
The 2022 Ducati World Week kicked off with a parade of thousands of Ducatis the day before, with the return of the Ducatisti for the first time in four years, since the last edition.
The kilometer-long ‘big red snake’ of Ducati motorcycles boasted record-breaking participation, covering the entire Adriatic Riviera and heading to Samsara Beach in Riccione for a party that saw the participants dance to the music of Italian DJ Benny Benassi.
Some lucky participants also got a chance to take part in the “WDW MotoX2 Experience” with Pecco Bagnaia, who provided rides in the two-seater.
This coupled with the fact that hundreds of Ducatisti were able to test drive their bikes in multiple race sessions along the straight line and between the Quercia, Tramonto and Curvone curves of the circuit, to test driving the Ducati-made Panigale V4. , have their setup of bikes checked by Ducati technicians, or hit the track in Lamborghini and Audi “taxi” driven by professional racers.
Adjacent to the track is the Adventure area, dedicated to all off-road lovers, including Danilo Petrucci and Jack Miller, who have performed on dirt roads. Manufacturer Borgo Panigale also introduced new Ducati DesertX, Scrambler Ducati Desert Sled and Multistrada V4 options.
The evening of Day 2 ended with a traditional BBQ served live on the main track by Ducati managers. This year it is enriched with a special recipe created by chef Riccardo Monco of three-Michelin-starred restaurant Enoteca Pinchiorri. The evening continued with a DJ performance by Meduza, the Italian house trio.
