Michael Hunter: Hughie Fury can’t punch!
Michael Hunter has denied any threats Hughie Fury has to make ahead of their fight on July 2 at The AO Arena in Manchester.
The final knockout of the WBA heavyweight title was announced yesterday with the winner going to meet the winner at the June 11 meeting between Trevor Bryan and Daniel Dubois.
Hunter, who last fought in England 4 years ago to stop Martin Bakole, has little positive to say about Hughie insisting the best thing about him is his DNA. Talking to Sports sky 33 year old man said
“He can’t punch”
“He’s good, I think he’s a boxer, he’s got some good skills, he’s tall, he’s long.”
“The best we can say is that he comes from a Fury family, a fighting family. That’s the best I can say.”
Hunter is yet to challenge for a world heavyweight title and only managed to pull off a draw against Jerry Forrest last time around despite expectations he would win easily. However, the original Las Vegas boxer is still full of faith that he will reach the top.
“I’ll find the belts and whoever comes in my way, I have to get over them.”
