Waiting for the upcoming Estate versions Mercedes-AMG C43 and C63 in Australia? Do not hold your breath.
Mercedes-Benz Australia has doubled the no-wagon rule for C-Class when asked about the prospects of the upcoming AMG C43 and AMG C63.
“At this stage, there are no plans to launch any variant of the C-Class Estate in Australia. “Demand for our Mercedes-Benz SUVs is growing, while demand for Estate models is dwindling,” said a spokesperson for a local Mercedes-Benz dealer.
“Of course, we always listen to our customers and can assess and respond if the business case changes dramatically.”

Based on the above statement, it looks like Mercedes-Benz Australia will be looking to satisfy existing wagon customers with The next generation GLC SUVwill come to Australia in the first half of next year.
Like the current model, the new GLC is essentially an upgraded C-Class Estate with larger bumpers, with tight links to the passenger car’s steady friend inside and out.
Those intrigued by the wagon’s cargo prowess should know the new GLC’s 600-litre trunk far exceeds the C-Class Estate’s 490L quote.
Also, the tags for our market are C-Class all-terraina crossover wagon variant of the similar C-Class in concept Audi A4 allroad. The local branch of the brand gave the same reason as stated above.
