MBSJ received Honda Civic FE patrol car – 1.5L turbo sedan with ‘Penguatkuasa’ paint color to roam around in Subang
Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya (MBSJ) has received a new name Honda Civic FE, will perform official patrol vehicle (kereta rasmi peronda) and traffic escort duties (pengiring trafik penguatkuasa) in the area of the city council. The car was delivered by Syarikat Shared Auto Cars, a Honda dealer in Seksyen 15, Shah Alam.
The Civic pictured here is the V spec, a mid-range variant priced at RM143,700 between the base E and the fancy RS. It is powered by a 1.5 liter VTEC Turbo engine with 182 hp and 240 Nm of torque from 1,700 to 4,500 rpm. At 8.4 seconds, the V’s 0-100 km/h time is actually a tenth faster than the RS – besides being a bit lighter (13 kg), it also uses 16-inch wheels compared to the RS. 17 inches on the RS. Top speed is 200 km/h.
The paint color of the white Civic is blue as the main color. Blue is found on the bonnet, which features MBSJ’s badge and the words ‘Warden Trafik’. The sides of the sedan feature a combination of blue, green and red, with ‘Penguatkuasa MBSJ’ and the city council badge. Of course, so does the blue flash on the roof.
There is no mention of how many Civics have been delivered to MBSJ or the total number of orders. PDRM is also used for C-segment sedans, but the police drove the previous generation FC with a 1.8L NA engine that produced 141 PS/174 Nm. What do you think of Civic’s look in law enforcement outfit?
