Manningcast Week 10 Guest List: Here’s Who Will Join Peyton, Eli Manning On ‘Monday Night Football’
The “Manningcast” version of “Monday Night Football” is back for its sixth episode in Week 10, and once again the Manning brothers have exploited their relationship to put together a guest list. strong for their broadcasts.
“Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” became popular with the guests they could get on the show. Every quarter, a new personality comes to visit. So far, we’ve seen every type of guest from seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady to comedian Jon Stewart.
By far the best record on “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” comes from Marshawn Lynch. He appeared on the show at Week 7 and admitted that he drank Hennessy (and omit a lot of profanity during broadcast). It was the episode in which Eli Manning famously showed the camera a double bird, filed three complaints with the FCC.
This week, the Mannings are getting ready for a Rams-49ers game. Will they bring in some legends from each of those teams, or will they bring in more current players who could fall victim to the Manningcast curse?
Here is the guest list for the Week 10 broadcast of “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” during the 49ers vs. Rams.
THAN: Is Manningcast Cursed?
Manningcast Guest for Week 10
- Al Michaels, NBC’s individual game commentator
- Phil Mickelson, six-time major champion golfer
- Draymond Green, Warrior Power Advance
- Philip Rivers, former Chargers and Colts . defender
Al Michaels
ESPN is finally achieving their dream. Peyton Manning and Al Michaels will team up to broadcast “Monday Night Football”. Well, at least a quarter of it.
Andrew Marchand of the New York Post reported in 2020 that ESPN was trying to pair Manning and Michaels in their “Monday Night Football” booth. This happened after the company missed out on a Tony Romo sweepstakes opportunity.
Michaels has been an online broadcaster for NBC, CBS, and ABC since 1971. He is best known for his late-game “Miracle on Ice” call in 1980 and his two decades on “Monday Night Football” ” broadcast booth. Michaels has been the voice of NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” since joining the network in 2006.
It will be fun to watch Manning and Michaels frolic back and forth. It might not quite live up to ESPN’s dream of them being on a traditional broadcast together, but it’s good entertainment nonetheless.
Phil Mickelson
The guest in the second quarter of “Manningcast” will be Phil Mickelson. The six-time main winner is friendly with Peyton Manning, as the two have participated in multiple versions of “The Match”. They have never been paired with each other and have had a 1-1 record in those competitions.
Mickelson and Manning are both skilled players and should poke fun at each other’s skills. Eli can also get in on the action, as he was featured on the pregnancy show “The Match: Champions for Change”, so he’ll have plenty to think about his brother’s golf game and Mickelson.
Mickelson is an NFL fan and grew up in San Diego, California. He’s a fan of the Chargers, but he should also have plenty of thought about the Rams and 49ers.
It’s also important to note that Josh Allen – who appeared on the last Manningcast – dressed up as Mickelson for Halloween. Mannings will no doubt ask Mickelson what he thinks about Allen impersonating him.
I find this new version of Josh Allen charming but I still can’t pinpoint what it is

Draymond Green
Will Draymond Green get on the air like Marshawn Lynch? Manningcast fans can only hope that his third-quarter appearance will provide as many highlights as Lynch did.
Green has lived in the Bay Area since being drafted by the Warriors in 2012. He’s won three NBA championships and is an All-Star three times. That said, he’s a huge football fan and actually played two snaps at the end of the movie in a spring scenario of the State of Michigan. That was the extent of his college football career, but the 6-7 forward certainly knew the game well.
Green is averaging 8.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game for Golden State this season. The Warriors are the best 11-2 team in the NBA, so maybe he’ll give his fellow Bay Area 49 players some tips on how to turn around their 3-5 record.
Philip Rivers
Rivers will be on “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” in the fourth quarter of the game. Rivers played 17 NFL seasons and hit a record 134-106 in 240 career starts. He threw 63,440 yards and 421 touchdowns during his career.
Rivers was one of four quarterbacks selected in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He was picked with a #4 overall but traded to the Chargers, who owned the #1 pick. Why? Because Eli Manning, the top pick in the draft, doesn’t want to play in San Diego.
Sure enough, Rivers and boy Manning would discuss that draft class. Perhaps Eli will reveal more about his decision to evade the Chargers and land with the Giants.
