Curious dog experiences unexpected pain
When the tragedy began, Stuart Good was walking with his dog, Ella, and his friend, Clive Ransom. They explored Port Sunlight River Park in Birkenhead, England. Ella went into the weeds to explore for a while, but then she suddenly screamed and ran as if something scared her.
No one thought about it at the time. The trio continued to walk, and then they went home. But soon, Good calls Ransom and tells her that Ella has a large blister on her front leg that he has never seen before.

They said they have not yet seen any giant hogweed trees in the park, but that their rangers will continue to check health and safety.
