A person who was to face trial later this month within the slaying of a household physician at a central Alberta medical clinic has died.
Deng Mabiour, 54, was charged with first-degree homicide in final yr’s dying of Dr. Walter Reynolds on the Village Mall Stroll-In Clinic in Crimson Deer.

Crimson Deer lawyer Jason Snider, who was appointed as an amicus curiae, or buddy of the courtroom, to assist Mabiour, stated he died in a Calgary hospital.
“I can verify from the knowledge I obtained from the correctional authorities that he has died within the Foothills hospital,” Snider stated in an e mail to The Canadian Press on Tuesday.
“I have no idea the reason for dying. It has not been shared with me.”
