Malaysian driver, why are we angry on the road?
We Malaysians are generally likeable, friendly people. We help each other, even when we are complete strangers. And more often than not, we give thanks or Terima Kasih exchange. But have you noticed that the same people turn into angry monsters as soon as they cross the street?
That’s right, when the door closes or the helmet pops up, the smile turns into a frown. Politeness is completely replaced by anger, impatience, so many profanities and sometimes, even violence. Dear Malaysians, this is not normal. We can be better than this. we Candlestick do better.
Can we start treating each other with kindness and respect on the road, like we used to do to each other? I think we can. Help a little. #takdehalbro
