LRT, MRT, Monorail sound systems are being upgraded – temporarily ignore the announcements of MRT Putrajaya Line

Rapid KL has announced that the sound system in LRT, MRT and Monorail trains is currently being upgraded in phases. This move is in line with what’s to come opening of Putrajaya MRT Line Phase 2, will take place on March 16.

As a result, passengers can ignore announcements regarding the new Metro Line. Rapid KL said: “For your information, transfer stations to Putrajaya Metro Line Phase 2 are not open yet.

Soon, the 38.7km Phase 2 from Kampung Batu along Jalan Ipoh to Putrajaya Sentral will be fully open to the public after some delay. This section includes 15 elevated stations and 9 underground stations. Phase 1 from Kwasa Damansara to Kampung Batu has been completed running as of June 2022.
