Five people were killed following a workplace shooting at a bank in Louisville, Kentucky, on Monday morning. The city was established in honor of the victims in a Wednesday prayer at 5 p.m. ET.

This is what we know So far about the lives lost:

Joshua Barrick40 years old, and his family is a member of the Holy Trinity Parish Louisville, the church wrote on Facebook.

They wrote: “Our hearts are heavy, broken and we are searching for answers. “Please pray for the entire Barrick family, including his wife, Jessica, and their two lovely children, who are students at our school.”

Dean of Eckert, 57, was one of the victims hospitalized and later died on Monday, police announced. It is unclear if she was among the three in critical condition earlier.

Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg described Eckert as a “very kind and very caring person.”

Tommy Elliott, Old National Bank senior vice president, remembered by local and state leaders as a mentor and beloved community leader.

“Tommy is a wonderful man. He’s interested in finding good people and putting them in positions to do great things. He hugged me when I was very young and interested in politics,” State Senator David Yates told CNN. He talks about lifting people up, building them up.

Elliott, 63, is also close friends with Kentucky Governors Andy Beshear and Greenberg, who said he spent Monday morning at the hospital with Elliott’s wife.

“It is painful, painful for all the families I know,” Greenberg said. “It only comes to the house in a unique way when you know one of the victims so well.”

Beshear remembered Elliott as an “incredible friend” and also called the others who died “wonderful people” who will be remembered and mourned by their communities.

Farmer JulianaHer aunt, Vicki Brooks-Scott, 45, also a banker, has just started a new chapter in her life by moving to Louisville from Henderson. WFIE. According to Brooks-Scott, she’s only been on the job for the third week. The last time she spoke to her granddaughter was at Easter.

“She loves life,” says Brooks-Scott. “She is a beautiful young girl. All I can say is heaven has a beautiful angel.”

Farmer left behind three children, four grandchildren and a fifth due in September, according to her aunt.

James “Jim” TuttRebecca Fleischaker, chief executive officer of Downtown Development Corporation, told CNN: “She, 64, is a ‘fan and fervent supporter’ of the downtown Louisville area and actively helps promote it.

Tutt has worked as CRE markets executive at Old National Bank in downtown Louisville since 2015, according to his LinkedIn.
