Ford appears to have issued a series of non-stop recalls through 2023. Already problem for F-150 Lightning, Mustang, the adventurer And even Fusion Due to all manner of production problems. Now, the company is forced to announce another recall, this time affecting Bronco and Ranger models.

First reported by Autoevolutionthe latest recall from the Blue Oval affects certain 2023 Bronco and Ranger models. The recall was confirmed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on April 20, Affects 1,434 Bronco and Ranger cars.
According to NHTSA, affected vehicles equipped with the left wheel lug nuts may not have been tightened properly. This could “lead to loosening of the wheel attachment and the wheel could become detached from the vehicle,” the agency said.
In severe cases where a wheel comes loose, it increases the “risk of injury or collision,” NHTSA reports. According to the government agency:
“Due to an assembly error, the nuts on the left wheel may not have been tightened to specification.
“Loose wheel lug nuts can lead to vibration and noise while driving.”
It’s a pretty simple fix to the problem, like Ford will recall affected models and take them to the dealer to check the torque on the driver-side lug nuts. Until then, however, the US automaker has asked owners of the affected cars not to drive their new cars.
In total, the recall affects 992 Ford Bronco vehicles and 442 Ford Ranger. Owners of these vehicles will be notified by mail by May 5, 2023.
