Pay attention — New Timekeeping Apple and Samsung wearables are on the rise.
Apple Whisperer Mark Gurman reports that Apple plans to release a sturdier version of it Apple Watch in the near future. It has to be the largest Apple Watch of them all, even though its screen is only slightly larger than Line 71.9 inch face. It is said to be built with a sturdier metal frame and more durable screen and is geared towards extreme sports enthusiasts. Perhaps the biggest improvement could be the battery life, which, unfortunately in previous Apple Watch models, only maxed out at around 18 hours. Gurman says this extreme Apple Watch will last longer, but not longer. Who knows, maybe it will last all day now.
It’s been a leaky week for watches, with 91Mobiles reveal some details about what might be SAMSUNGof the next watch. The Galaxy Watch 5, as it is said, will come in two versions: the plain old Watch 5 and the Watch 5 Pro. The “Pro” name seems to be how Samsung is currently branding its more expensive model; on the Galaxy Watch 4, it used the name “Classic” for that, which is arguably less obvious. Watch 5 Pro seems remove the rotating bezel found on the touch-based Classic.
When either of those two new watches might be released is unclear, but it is likely that they will appear in the fall, when both companies tend to announce new products.

Testing Twitter’s two devices
Looks like Elon Musk wants come back his bid to buy Twitter. (Cue the litigation.) It wasn’t a real shock, because agree was kick in the beginningand just grow more chaotic and confrontation.
Despite this existential volatility, the company is still going ahead and testing some quirky new features. The latest is what Twitter is calling for Co-Tweets, which will allow users to collaborate on tweets. Currently, it only supports copper writing between two users. One invites the other, then the complete tweet is sent to the followers of both users.
Google Documenting these tweets isn’t available to everyone (if at all). For now, Twitter says it’s testing the feature with a select group of users for a limited time. Then only God knows what will happen next on Twitter.

Volkswagen wants to become environmentally conscious now, please
German car company Volkswagen has start building the first of six battery plants planned across Europe. The company is based in Salzgitter, Germany, and is eventually expected to produce enough batteries to power half a million electric vehicles. It won’t be until 2025 at least before the plant actually makes cells, but the process is still happening.
The project is a big step forward for the company and a strong transition to electric vehicle production. Volkswagen has been branded as the environmental bad guy since it was caught rigged his vehicles to play US emissions tests in 2015. This trick affected thousands of cars, and it resulted in a large recall and hefty fines for the company. It also undermines any efforts Volkswagen has made to build an eco-friendly image. There is a clear financial incentive for the company, such as demand for electric cars is developing rapidly. But if this happens, it could be a way for Volkswagen to try to clean up after itself.
TikTok closes shop
Last week, TikTok was discovered test new Store tab in its application. Now, that experiment seems to be fading away. Follow Financial TimesTikTok has decided slow down its shopping planand it will not extend this feature to Europe or the US. The app’s parent company, China’s ByteDance, blamed the reversal on low engagement in the UK, where the company tested the Shop feature. TikTok’s presence in the UK has generally caused a stir, with the Stores feature causing friction among employees at corporate office in London. While TikTok may have closed the Shop in some places, it is still available in Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia.
