I think about trends a lot (it’s my job, after all), but the truth is I’m pretty picky about the trends I actually buy. Reason? I remove large amounts of outdated, “trendy” pieces from my wardrobe every season. Do not misunderstand me-I still invest in many trends, but I like to wait a bit before buying to see if said trend will stand the test of time (nothing magical for me), as I hate to give something away that I just worn a few times. But it happenedso before adding to my wardrobe every season, I usually remove those expired trends that I know I’m done wearing (for the foreseeable future at least).
