Laverda 750 SFC Electronica
With Phil Aynsley
Previously watched the first version of Laverda’s iconic 750 SFCs I think we can check the last model in this column.
750 SFC “Electronica” was built in two batches – 131 in 1975 and 33 more the following year. They carry the serial number 18,000.
The main changes compared to previous versions are to the engine, the most notable of which is the electronic ignition from Bosch (with a small polished alloy housing, a very conspicuous addition on the engine cover). left engine) and an oil cooler.
Internal changes include a redesigned cylinder head with a reshaped combustion chamber, a revised valve angle, and a flatter spark plug.
Higher compression (10.5:1) pistons, thinner, polished tuning rods and redesigned left crankshaft are also part of the new package.
Power is 75 hp at 7400 rpm, a wet weight of 231 kg and a top speed of 217 km/h are offered.
Frame changes are limited to frames. Lot ’76 is equipped with alloy wheels.
