Performer by Lance Reddick The cause of death was declared earlier this week, but now his attorney is debating how he died.
Wire the star’s death certificate, first published by TMZ early Thursday, listed his immediate cause of death as ischemic heart disease and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease.
The actor’s lawyer said the cause of death was “completely incompatible with his lifestyle”.
However, Reddick’s attorney, James Hornstein, issued a statement to EVERYBODY just hours after TMZ released the report. He claims no autopsies have been performed and “no medical examination of Lance in his lifetime has ever indicated such conditions.”
“I have represented Lance Reddick for many years and continue to represent his wife Stephanie. The coroner’s statement on the death certificate is not the result of an autopsy. No autopsies were performed on Lance. To the best of my knowledge, no medical examination of Lance in his lifetime has ever indicated such conditions,” the statement read.
Hornstein called Lance “the healthiest person I’ve ever known” and added, “The information on his death certificate is completely out of line with his lifestyle.”

“Lance is the fittest man I have ever known,” Hornstein continued. “He works out daily at his home gym, which includes intensive cardio and the availability of exercise equipment is a contractual requirement for remote work. his house. The actor’s representative confirmed he passed away “of natural causes” in a statement released after his passing.
The statement continued: “Lance is best known for her roles in The Wire, Bosch, Netflix’s Resident Evil, and John Wick.
