Lady Wong and Singapura team up for a tea service in Singapore
Lady Wong, a pastry shop in the East Village that serves vibrant Southeast Asian fare, has teamed up with Salil Mehta’s Singapura restaurant to offer early afternoon tea, the Singaporean way. A trolley full of options such as Lady Wong’s lychee tart, black sesame passion fruit cake, mango mousse, pandan serimuka (a custard tart) and more, surrounds the room. Dessert wines, spirits, cocktails and teas are poured to accompany sweets.
Singapura and Lady Wong Afternoon Tea, 11:30am to 2:30pm, Saturdays and Sundays through October 12; Singapura, 31 East 20th Street, 646-429-9886, singapura.nyc.
