Lab charges Coyote when he hears his dog friend screaming in pain

The hound incident was caught on camera in Freddy and Melissa Patriarca’s backyard. The wild animal jumped over the 6-meter-long fence to enter the family yard. It then ran straight towards their Boston Terrier named Sadie, who was outside unattended. The little dog screamed in terror. That’s when her human knew something was wrong.

The wolf grabbed Sadie and tried to drag her with him, but she fought. As Sadie struggled in the predator’s jaws, the coyote panicked and fled. As the wolf fled, security footage showed a predatory dog ​​named Cody chasing the animal to save his sister. When his family watched the footage later, they couldn’t believe it!

Freddy said: ‘My heart broke when I heard her scream. “And just know that a wild animal like a coyote can jump walls so easily and almost take our loved ones away.”

After a few days, Sadie was given antibiotics and felt fine. She’s lucky her canine brother was there to save her because not all dogs are so lucky.

Coyote sightings like these are increasingly common, so Melissa worries that there aren’t enough safety precautions in their community. The family has three dogs and five children, and they will be devastated if anything happens to them.

Melissa said: “Actually last year, they were coming around where I was going to drive my kids to school, and I would see a wolf walking and it was right in front of the school. “And that’s really scary.”

Patrick Taylor, a handyman who lives near his family, said he was not surprised by the wolf attack. His business has boomed with people wanting predatory pest control methods, such as lawn mowers, tall hedges and chicken wire.

The Patriarcas have notified the city of the incident, but they have yet to receive a response. They hope officials will consider taking more action to keep the community safe.
