A strong product line-up and fresh color schemes will mark a new era for KTM’s factory MotoGP presence in 2025.

The rebranded Red Bull KTM Tech3 team will complement the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team with two excellent names in Grand Prix winners Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales.

Pit Beirer – Director of KTM Motorsports

We are delighted to be able to include both Enea and Maverick in our MotoGP project and provide them with full factory support and assistance to continue pursuing their goals and achieving maximum performance. Obviously we’re talking about two of the fastest riders in the world right now and it’s commendable that they trust us and the first-class operation we’ve created with the Red Bull KTM Tech3. The team’s branding for 2025 says it all: it’s time to strengthen the KTM name once again, and we can’t think of a better way to bring this kind of value to the company than Enea and Maverick uses all Red Bull orange. Now let’s do our best for the rest of 2024 and then look forward to this new beginning for next year.”

The Italian, 26, from Rimini, and the Spaniard, 29, from Roses, will be fitted with complete KTM RC16 machinery at the factory by 2025 as part of a multi-year deal and will form Red Bull orange quartet with stars Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta in adjacent setup.

Nicolas Goyon – Director of MotoGP Tech3 Racing team

We’re pleased to announce that Enea and Maverick will be with us next year as we transition back to KTM. We can’t forget our first MotoGP win wearing orange! We are proud that these two talented riders decided to ride our bikes. It shows we are on the right track and our technology can fight on the front line to win the championship. We would like to thank Pierer Mobility AG for the quality of their support. Our cooperation has reached its highest level this year and I am sure that it will continue to grow in the future. We also want to thank Red Bull for their dedication to us. We have a clear commitment towards winning and that’s why Enea and Maverick decided to join the program.”

Bastianini won his first world championship ten years ago (after dominating the races in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup) on a KTM RC4. He took six wins and more than 30 podiums in both Moto3 and Moto2 through a seven-season learning period, where he also improved to claim the 2020 crown in the intermediate class . Enea joined MotoGP in 2021 at the age of 23 and has racked up five wins and 12 podiums during his three-and-a-half years of competition to date. Noted for his natural ability and excellence in maximizing his technical ‘package’ across the entire racing distance, ‘La Bestia’ will be a formidable asset for the Red Bull KTM Tech3 racing team.

Already a race winner in 2024 and the first rider in the MotoGP era to win with three different marques; Maverick Viñales brings outstanding experience and talent to the team. Vinales was actually KTM’s second Moto3 world champion in 2013 after the teenager’s third stint in Grand Prix and a career stretch that saw four seasons in both Moto3 and Moto2 lead to four consecutive top-three championship finishes. He entered the top class in 2015 and recorded the first of his 10 MotoGP successes (35 podiums) the following campaign. Viñales won two championship bronze medals during his decade tenure and won at least one Grand Prix in seven of those ten years in MotoGP. Maverick’s sharp feel, speed and stamina make him one of the leading names on the MotoGP circuit.
