KTM Group announces sales record for the 12th consecutive year

PIERER Mobility AG, the parent group of KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS, among many other components companies, has announced their 12th consecutive year of record sales.

Final revenue for fiscal year 2022 is expected to range from EUR 2,420 million to EUR 2,435 million, representing an increase of approximately 19% year-on-year.

With 375,612 motorcycles sold in fiscal year 2022 (previous year: 332,881), PIERER Mobility hit a record for the 12th consecutive year with a sales increase of around 13%.

In Europe, sales were around 130,000 motorcycles and about two-thirds of the motorcycles (about 245,000) were sold in markets outside of Europe, particularly across North America, India and Australia.

  • Sales: 118,427 E-bikes & Bicycles (+15%)
  • Expected EBIT margin between 9 and 10%

Additionally, the Bicycle Division experienced sales growth of more than 15% and sold 118,427 e-bikes & bicycles (previous year: 102,753).

PIERER Mobility Group’s preliminary key figures for fiscal year 2022 will be released on January 31, 2023.

In 2023, the PIERER Mobility Group will continue to focus on growth in all core areas, both motorcycles and bicycles (E-). Management expects revenue growth of 6 to 10% with an EBIT margin of 8 to 10%.
