Kim Kardashian says her SNL debut was supposed to be more of a joke about Kanye West.
“I don’t want too many Kanye jokes, like one. So there’s two or three in here so I thought I’d take this one out. This is by Michelle Wolf,” she said. “[…] The divorce is too sensitive for him. I said that part in the monologue, I don’t want to like – maybe I can talk to Chris and think of something funny. I could just say to him, ‘Hey! This is super sensitive to him. “”
She joked about Kanye in her monologue: “I’m married to the greatest rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s also the richest black man in America. A legitimate, talented genius who bore me four incredible children. So when I divorced him, you had to know it inferred one thing: his personality. ”
Kim’s romance with Pete Davidson began after the show.
