Details were announced this week about two upcoming plug-in hybrids. The 2023 Kia Sportage Plug-In Hybrid Not quite keeping up with the Toyota RAV4 Prime or Ford Escape Plug-In Hybrid with a 32-mile range, but it promises a sportier look and driving experience. And Alfa Romeo introduced its first hybrid. The 2023 Tonale plug-in hybrid will go 30 miles all-electric and rear-wheel drive — hopefully giving a more appealing personality to go with the cool exterior.

Ford CEO Jim Farley recently said that the company is planning to Its “Reengineer” Mustang Mach-E Ascending, like Tesla and Model Y, for faster access to product innovations and cost savings — and then bring that knowledge back to other electric vehicles. According to a separate, unconfirmed report, Ford also Expanded plans for Lincoln brand electric vehiclesincludes potential replacements (or additions) to the Lincoln Corsair, Nautilus, Aviator, and Navigator.

Two Tesla recalls were confirmed by NHTSA this week.
