The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have embarked on an eight-day royal tour of the Caribbean, which will include stops in Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas. On Sunday, Prince William and Kate Middleton visited the small Belizean town of Hopkins. During the excursion, Middleton wore a royal blue Tory Burch gown, bearing the colors of the flag of Belize.
To stroll the beach and meet marine conservationists, Middleton changed its platform into Stella McCartney’s espadrille apartments. We rarely see the Duchess in flats (not sneakers), so her choice of shoes immediately caught my attention. As it happened, another notorious lover, Anna Wintour, also wears white flats when she wants to take a break with heels.
