Juan Francisco Estrada had a goal on Saturday night at Hermosillo – beating Argi Cortes, preferably with impressive style. After beating Chocolatito Gonzalez in a lengthy rematch in 2021, 42-3 Estrada is likely to hit the Nicaraguan legend for a third time, as long as he beats Cortes 23-2-2 for the first time in the competition. round 12 according to their schedule. As for Cortes, he also has a single goal on Saturday – to stun the boxing world by conquering the famous Estrada.
Neither boxer was afraid to take a first round that saw each man have his moments. Everything continued to close in the moment because it was clear that Cortes had come to win. Defending WBC super flyweight champion Estrada came into high energy mode in the third round, stunning his men with sharp and effective punches. However, Cortes ended his strong strokes as the inning continued. Cortes then continued to kick his man hard and repeatedly into the fourth inning.
Thursday was a tense situation as each fighter landed on his enemy quickly and furiously. In the end, however, it seems Cortes is the one to do it better. The sixth part is a horror movie. Cortes hit Estrada repeatedly. Estrada began to beat himself towards the end of the round, but Cortes recovered before the bell rang. For the seventh time, however, Estrada knocked his men down with a body shot. Cortes beat numbers, but it was a huge round for Estrada. The eighth once again saw each man hit hard. Cortes is clearly a bigger challenge for Estrada than he expected.
Things still end in season nine, although it seems Estrada is the one with the more impactful punches. The tenth round wasn’t as fast-paced as some of the previous rounds, but Cortes showed he was still in the fight. The boxers continued to cut each other in the eleventh round. The twelfth and final round saw both boxers leave everything in the ring. The winner in this painful love affair ended up being Estrada with a unanimous decision. Cortes, however, probably did his career a lot on Saturday night but was virtuous about his performance.
Earlier in the evening, Erika Cruz defended her featherweight WBA title against Jelena Mrdjenovich, who she decisively defeated. Sivenathi Nontshinga also won the IBF flyweight belt by knocking out Hector Flores in a stellar match.
