Josh Kelly vs. Lucas Bastida Update Undercard
Harlem Eubank will have a new opponent in the opposite corner of the field when the rematch next weekend.
The undefeated grandson of British boxing legend Chris Eubank Snr and Chris Eubank Jr’s cousin (14-0, 6 KOs) will return to the competition on July 30.
Eubank was originally set to face Liverpool’s Tom Farrell at the Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle, broadcast live exclusively on Channel 5, as part of the Wasserman boxing promo card.
But after Farrell withdrew from the competition, citing a positive COVID-19 test, Mexico’s Eliot Chavez (11-4-1, 6 KOs) was brought in to provide Eubank’s latest test.
Chavez is 27 years old and has only appeared outside of Mexico once. He was in the fight on the winning front but lost recently in February when he traveled to Kazakhstan and was knocked out in the eight-round final by one-time beater Bekman Soylybayev, 31, Bekman Soylybayev.

Josh Kelly, who represented Team GB at the 2016 Rio Olympics and previously held the Commonwealth and WBA International weightlifting titles, tops the following table. last month’s impressive performance against Peter Kramer at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.

The man currently ascending to super-heavyweight will contest the vacant WBO International title against leading Argentinian contender Lucas Bastida (18-1-1, 10 KOs).
