Once you’ve selected your desired route, JetBlue will direct you to the low-fare calendar to select the dates, as shown below, for this round-trip flight from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to Charleston International Airport (CHS) in the third week of January.
While the sale is marketed as an offer on a one-way fare, you can stack two one-way tickets or book a return ticket as usual and still get the discount. I actually found a flight back to LGA for $44 which is a bit cheaper than advertised.

As mentioned, the sale price is for the lowest fare available, likely the Blue Basic ticket. As JetBlue’s most limited class, this fare allows travelers to bring only one personal item that can fit under the seat in front of them. Any full-size hand baggage brought to the gate will be subject to a fee and needs to be checked. The fee is $65 one way (for first or second checked baggage) or $180 (for third baggage).

Neither Blue Basic nor Blue include checked baggage, so charge an extra $35 for your first piece and $45 for the second if you’re checking in. If you add luggage first, you can save $5 for the first two. Change and cancellation fees also apply to Basic fares, so consider upgrading for more flexibility.
Maximize your purchases
Use your reward card when buying airline tickets. Regular JetBlue customers can use JetBlue Plus Card at 6 points per dollar on qualifying JetBlue purchases, JetsGreen Card for 3 points per dollar on qualifying JetBlue purchases or JetBlue business card at 6 points per dollar on qualifying JetBlue purchases.
If not, try Platinum Card® from American Express (5 points per dollar on airline tickets booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel), up to $500,000 for these purchases per calendar year, Citi Prestige® Card (5 points per dollar on airfare), Citi Premier® CardChase Sapphire Reserve (3 points per dollar on airline tickets), American Express® Gold Card (3 points per dollar on airfare when booked directly with the airline or through Amex Travel) or Chase Sapphire Priority Card (2 points per dollar for travel).
