Amex Green Increases Explicit Benefits to $189: Now Coverable for Two

Previously, the Green Card had a benefit of $100 for one Remove membership. Now, however, that benefit has grown to $189, which is enough to cover a full membership for one person. (Read on to learn how to add others for free.)

To take advantage of this benefit, use your American Express Green Card to pay for your annual fees. Remove airport membership. You’ll earn up to $189 in statement credits after you purchase your membership on this card.

This benefit is even better for Delta SkyMiles and United Mileage Plus members. If you’re a member of one of these programs (joining is free), you can get a Clear membership for as little as $119.

Clear lets you add up to three people to your account for as little as $60 each, meaning members of these loyalty programs can cover the cost of their own Clear membership. them and one additional person with this increased credit.

If you’re not already a Delta SkyMiles or United MileagePlus member, you can sign up for either or both plans for free and take advantage of this lower cost.

Another good news is that this increased privilege does not increase the card $150 annual fee. If you’re the beneficiary of a Clear membership, the privilege alone will cost you an annual fee.

Note that this added benefit is only available to the American Express Green Card. Traditional Green Cards and Premium Green Cards are not eligible for this benefit.
