We’ve seen Jeeps Avengers before in the picturebut Jeep car just revealed all the little details we’ve been waiting for at Paris Motor Show. Power is provided by a single electric motor that makes 154 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. This won’t be a fast EV, but that should be enough for relatively quick acceleration. Jeep says the simple interior design was inspired by the Wrangler. You’ll see a very basic dash design accentuated by a 10.25-inch touchscreen. Seats can have leather cushions and even have a massage function. A wide sunroof will also be available, and so will a range of driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control and lane centering.
Finally, Jeep says there will be an Avenger 1st Edition available for pre-order between now and November 30. It’s the yellow one you see in the photos here, and it’s fully loaded. Jeep also provided photos of a “custom Avenger” in Paris with a range of accessories like camo capes, blue accents and a host of minor interior changes. You won’t miss it in the gallery, as it shows off the wheels with blue accents.
