Countless superlatives can be used to describe Jean Pascal. Many-time world champion, successful knockout artist, resilient and of course, ready to take on all the others. However, while Pascal has worn gold around his waist many times, countless criticisms have been directed at him.

After Pascal’s narrow but clear win over Badou Jack in December 2019, Pascal’s name was dragged down the mud when he failed multiple post-fight drug tests. Both amazed and utterly disbelieving, Pascal, at the age of 39, has dusted off and begun his career renaissance. While the former two-time lightweight champion entrenched in an arduous training camp, it paid off earlier for him tonight.

A rather boisterous crowd filled the Whitesands Event Center in Plant City, Florida, with Pascal’s full support. As he confidently stepped over the rope, Pascal nodded in agreement. Moments later, the more stern Fanlong Meng stepped into the ring herself while looking at Pascal’s supporters emotionlessly.

In the opening round, Meng performed a distance stab to find his distance. Pascal was always on high alert, allowing Meng’s stab to bounce harmlessly out of his glove. When it was time to strike, Pascal did it, unleashing two painful over-hands in the weak seconds of the opening round.

In the second, a much more assertive Meng emerged from his corner. The Chinese-born player blew up the former world player just seconds in front of goal. A powerful left-hander straight from the hopeful unbeaten title sent Pascal into a tug of war. When Haiti’s attack staggered in front of the penalty area, Meng launched a full attack. For the rest of the round, Pascal retreated and held onto his opponent, not taking any more hits.

Needing the next few rounds to regain his composure, Pascal charged fiercely in the fifth round. He eagerly meets Meng in the center of the ring and bullies his men with ropes. The crowd roared in approval as he hurled multiple blows to Meng’s body before connecting with a number of straight punches and excessive arm swings.

The confused Meng continued to lie on the rope, awaiting his pardon. However, that moment will come soon after. In the seventh part, Pascal makes an easy-going appearance. He lazily walked into the middle of the ring. Meng’s quick punches caused Pascal to stagger on his feet. The former world player was tired and listless in the corner of the field when Meng finished mercilessly.

Appearing on the eighth turn, Pascal performed best on the ninth. During this time period, a short and quick internal exchange was punctuated by Pascal with a sharp upper cut. Seconds later, Meng hit the floor.

Pascal’s confidence increased on day 10. After connecting on several unanswered shots, referee Chris Young called time because Meng’s corner was required to fix the tape around his glove. he. Given more time to rest, Pascal seethed and slammed his gloves together, drawing a reaction from his staunch supporters.

As soon as he was given the green light to continue, Pascal launched a full-scale attack. Although Meng’s corner showed concern, the Chinese product remained calm, fighting back strong in the weak seconds.

After an 11th nip and put, both fighters were left on the ring in the final round. Pascal took the initiative, slamming his body into the ropes before Meng turned the tide with seconds remaining.

From the moment the final bell rang, both boxers raised their victorious hands in the air. However, only one man will go away with victory.

As the crowd waited in suspense, they erupted as Pascal was handed a pretty wide decisive victory.
