Katie Newhouser has been in the UPS delivery business for 15 years. She loves giving snacks and hugging dogs on her route. That’s how she met Leo, a good-natured Pit Bull, and his mother Tina Rummel, who lives in one of her delivery zones.

Katie and Leo have had a longtime friendship. Katie is heartbroken when she learns that Tina has passed away, leaving Leo alone with sadness. Tina’s son Canon is on a mission at sea far from home, so Katie is very concerned about Leo’s well-being.
When Katie got home, she discovered Leo had climbed into her car and wouldn’t let her go. So, in the hope that Canon would return to her job soon, she decided to adopt him. Leo’s laid-back attitude makes him quickly bond with the other dogs in Katie’s family at his new home. He quickly became a close part of their family.

On other days, Leo missed Tina so much that he would sob like a baby before falling asleep. However, his new siblings always support him with their affection. It wasn’t long before Katie realized that she wouldn’t be able to say goodbye to lovely Leo.
