Jamal James, 27-2, takes on Alberto Palmetta 18-1 in front of a hometown crowd at the Armory in Minneapolis on Saturday night. The match was the second of three to be broadcast live by Showtime and was scheduled for 10 innings in the welterweight division.

The first three rounds take place at a relatively fast and engaging pace. James, who was considerably taller than Palmetta, used his height by keeping his distance and landing from a distance. Palmetta, however, is a hotly pursued fighter. It will be interesting to see if Palmetta can drain his opponent both physically and mentally as the match progresses.

Palmetta continued to apply intense pressure for the next few rounds. However, James was able to hold on and lunge at his opponent from an effective distance. He also doesn’t mind fighting Palmetta in the middle of the ring. However, after the sixth season, Showtime cameras caught James in his corner saying that the Covid he had had had a bad effect on him.

Saturday is a horror movie. James made it difficult for his men in the first part of the chapter, but then Palmetta began his own onslaught in the latter. Eight is a high-octane issue, although nothing is certain of what happens. The ninth, on the other hand, saw James land well for his men. Indeed, it looks like he can actually hurt his opponents, though the intrepid Palmetta continues his attack.

James was eliminated in the final round, but Palmetta simply wouldn’t stop fighting. The man has come to win. Seconds passed, but he kept moving forward. However, the evening went to James, who received the jury’s nod through unanimous decision.
