The state road from Sungai Tiram to Tebrau (J08) was closed again due to landslides and cracks in the road yesterday afternoon, Kulai district police chief Tok Beng Yeow confirmed. Harian Metro Station.
This is a complete closure of the road and it will be closed to all vehicles. Previously, the road was closed for two months due to landslides leading to flooding and the road was only reopened on February 22, the Kulai district police chief added.
The road from Sungai Tiram to Tebrau to Seksyen 10 (at the intersection with SWM – Seelong Environmental Center) has been closed due to landslides and the closure is expected to be prolonged. A cliff has also collapsed at Jalan Impiana 20, Taman Impiana, Kelapa Sawit opposite Jalan Orkid 3.
Tok said there were no casualties in both incidents. He continued: “Continuous rain has caused the soil to move around the corner and the moisture has caused the edge of the road to sink. This road has also been closed and a diversion has been established at Jalan Orkid 3.
