Of course, the MVP is referring to the battle card that is supposed to bring the curtain down on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden. Billed as a Pay Per View event, Paul was first tipped to take on the role of Tommy Fury in the title slot. Then when that war is over. Paul is said to face Hasim Rahman Jr.
“Amanda Serrano, Ashton Sylve and Brandun Lee are in the process of rescheduling fixtures with their respective opponents,” the statement continued. “All other event participants under the event will receive a direct payment from Jake Paul equal to 50% of their contracted out-of-pocket funds and without any contractual obligations to with promotions.” One may or may not like Paul, but this is certainly an act of generosity.
“We remain committed to ensuring fair competition for our fighters and look forward to hosting our next event,” the statement concluded.
