This is a very brief newsletter.

Let me end with an absolutely staggering statistic: in 2021 there were just over 6,100 deaths recorded due to weather and climate disasters, accounting for about 1 in 1,300,000 people. That is lowest global mortality rate in weather and climate disasters in a reliably recorded time period, and I want to venture, lowest in human history. Think about that.
