Last week, the UAE’s national security adviser, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed, Sheikh Mohammed’s brother, met Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi during a visit to Tehran. Sheikh Tahnoon said he hoped the trip would be a “turning point” for relations between the countries.
