There are two particularly notable and mysterious characters in Honkai: Star Railway, with both Caelus and Stelle players and Aeon Akivili being big unknowns. We know very little about the “self” in this game, other than the connection with Kafka and her Stellaron hunters and the new relationship with the Astral Express travelers. Our past? Who knows! Likewise, the Aeon of Trailblaze Akivili is equally mysterious. Where are they? They are gone! However, with the initial Trailblaze Quests and the tease, it seems HoYoVerse is establishing them as pretty closely linked. When I play, it makes me wonder if the Trailblazer in Honkai: Star Railway could actually be Aeon Akivili.

Akivili is an Aeon with a bit of a mystery in it Honkai: Star Railway. They have disappeared. No idea exactly what happened to them. We know Aeons can die. Kafka makes that very clear when you visit Xianzhou Luofu Trailblaze Missionsin Honkai: Star Railway. But even she was vague about what had happened.
However, since the Aeons are often against each other and her and her Stellaron Hunters against Nanook, it has been suggested that perhaps they are on the side of another Aeon. Perhaps that person is the famous Akivili, who is associated with The Trailblaze. As such, she and her crew will probably know what happened to them.
Which brings us to The Trailblazer, our avatar. The fact that they are called by that nickname is quite telling. We also know they have a past with Kafka, an unrememberable past. If Akivili is a traveller and pioneer, like the Stellaron Hunters and Astral Express members, then perhaps this Aeon has accompanied its followers on their way. Also, since an accident caused them to go missing, that would make the perfect excuse for Kafka and her crew to potentially possess a vessel for them.

It will also explain why Kafka and the Silver Wolf were looking for Stellaron on the Herta Space Station. One’s power would be a good way to revive an Aeon, especially an Aeon that was temporarily inactive due to an accident. We have seen the amount of growth caused by the one on Xianzhou Luofu. It will also serve as a means to give the Trailblazer the power to finally face Nanook and regain their role as Aeon.
I would even say that our avatar Akivili provides an explanation for how Pioneers can follow different Paths. They start on the Path of Destruction, then gain access to Preservation after Jarilo-VI. Having the power of Aeon, especially one known for the Pioneer Path, would make such adaptability plausible. Also, why else would we even To be who have to face Nanook if we are not an equally powerful Aeon regaining their status and gathering new “followers” by helping people on the planets unless the Pioneer of we are Akivili? Why do we catch Nanook’s eye in the first boss fight unless we’re an Aeon too?

Finally, we should also look at some of HoYoVerse’s marketing. We know that the players are “Pioneers” and in “Myriad Celestia: Fables of the Stars Part 1” narrator tells we, “This is the path you should take,” they said. Akivili. depart again, Akivili. So this entity is calling we Akivili, show us the Astral Express, and tell us to keep going.
It will probably be years before HoYoVerse officially confirms the “identity” of our Trailblazer Caelus or Stelle in Honkai: Star Railway and give more about Akivili. There will probably be a lot of teasing before that. However, I really feel like there might be some major connection between our avatars and this missing Aeon.
