iPhone 13, iPhone 12 users just got these NEW features with the latest Chrome update

The Chrome update introduced several new features for iOS users, including the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12. Check out the list here.

Chrome version 103 has been rolled out with a host of new features and updates to the desktop web browser. With this new release, Google is highlighting a number of new features for iPhone and iPad users that extend usability and security. Whether you are using the latest version iPhone 13″, iPhone 12 or any other iPhone model, new unique features are being offered to you and they are worth a try, a report by 9to5Google suggests. Well, to get started, you need to update your Chrome app first. Just go to the App Store and search for Google Chrome, then tap the update button, if available. Now, let’s check out what’s coming to iPhone users with the Chrome 103 update.

New features for iPhone users with Chrome 103 update

New look for the three-dot menu: The Chrome 103 update changed the look and feel of the three-dot menu option located at the bottom right corner of Chrome on your iPhone. Now, it starts with a colorful carousel that provides quick access to options like Bookmarks, History, Reading List, Passwords, Downloads, Recent Tabs, and Settings.

Language recognition mode: One of the impressive updates with Chrome 103 is “language recognition mode”. What does it do? It uses machine learning to analyze a web page to determine the language it uses and tries to figure out if you need to translate it into your preferred language. The best part is that this machine learning only happens on the device, which means no translation happens on the device Google or a third-party server. It’s a safe way to translate articles on the web without worrying about security.

Set camera and microphone permissions for select sites: With this update, you can set camera and microphone permissions for certain websites, instead of Chrome as a whole. This will allow you to use your iPhone camera and microphone for selectively trusted sites while keeping other sites separate.

Enhanced Safe Browsing: The report mentions that iPhone users can also look forward to the introduction of Enhanced Safe Browsing. However, this feature may not be available to all users. The report suggests trying to find it in the Google Services preferences in Settings.
