Why is it almost impossible to solve a Rubik’s cube in under 3 seconds? (Video)


Rubik’s Cube It’s a fascinating invention. As a relatively simple puzzle toy, it attracts a large number of fans around the world. And, of course, one of the main attractions is trying to beat this game in the shortest time possible.

The current world record for solving a standard 3 x 3 x 3 Rubik’s Cube is just 3.47 seconds. The record was made by Du Yusheng from China almost 4 years ago. It is indeed a remarkable achievement, requiring a lot of agility, quick thinking and good mechanical ability in the hands of the solver.

There are also robots made to beat this famous puzzle. The fastest non-human solver is 0.38 seconds. However, for everyone, it is nearly impossible to go below three seconds. The following video explains why:
