Indian Premier League 2022: Avesh Khan, Jason Holder Star as LSG Thrash Floundering KKR

A superb performance of Lucknow Super Giants speed attack led by great efforts from Avesh Khan (3/19) and Jason Holder (3/31) helped the team win won 75 clinical matches against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2022at the MCA Stadium in Pune on Saturday. They passed the 100-run mark in 11 rounds, with Hooda scoring 40 runs of 25 balls. Andre Russell then provided Kolkata with another relief, as he put Hooda back on the dugout in the 13th round, leaving the team score 110/3.

Krunal also started in the 15th round, after 25 short runs. Ayush Badoni and Marcus Stoinis held hands and kept the scoreboard moving for their team. Stoinis beat a hat-trick of sixes in the 19th minute by Shivam Mavi, before being caught on the fourth serve. The carnage on the remaining two balls was continued by Jason Holder as he hit two six-balls side by side.

In the 20th half, Tim Southee eliminated Holder and conceded only four times, ending Lucknow’s turn 176/7.
